How Do You Live?

“How do you live?” is a design-driven video piece documenting two weeks in Japan through a cinematic lens. Focused on calm, rituality, and tradition, the project uses an existing Joe Hisaishi composition as an homage, supporting the pacing and emotional tone. Through controlled framing, natural light, and a measured edit, the video distills everyday moments into a curated visual study of Japanese living — blending filmmaking and design to reveal the essence of its atmosphere and culture.

A refined visual study of Japanese living, filmed over two weeks and guided by a careful balance of composition, light, and pacing. Accompanied by an existing track by Joe Hisaishi, it blends documentary observation with a design-oriented cinematic language.
