Caro Saverio

Memory is a living thread: in diaries, the past isn’t a frozen image but a breath that returns. Each page safeguards the writer’s voice and delivers it to the present, turning the private into shared history. In my project—a digital museum exhibition dedicated to Saverio Tutino at the Piccolo Museo del Diario—words take on form, light, and rhythm. The interface becomes a “listening table”: it lets you browse, connect, and make faint traces and major events resonate. Thus the diary is not a relic but a tool for connection—a bridge that teaches us to remember in order to understand. And in the act of reading, we recognize ourselves: the past looks at us, and we learn to look back more clearly. Photo Credits: dotdotdot.

Problem

Personal diaries often remain confined to private or static archives, making it difficult for contemporary audiences to engage emotionally with the voices and memories they contain.

Solution

A digital museum exhibition that transforms Saverio Tutino’s diaries into an interactive “listening table,” where words become light, sound, and motion—turning personal memory into a shared, living experience that invites reflection and connection across time.
